The main discussions touched upon what should we improve in the insolvency arena to make insolvency proceedings attractive and efficient? It was also discussed, how to eliminate the stigma of being involved in an insolvency proceeding as it was identified as one of the big issues in the post-covid era. The possibility of undergoing a restructuring should be celebrated and should be seen as an opportunity, as a way of rescuing a company, and not as something negative. In this regard, the new Spanish Insolvency Law bill could be a paradigmatic shift, because the focus of the law relies on preventive restructuring.
